2026 Theme: Growing in Faith. Going in Power.

Foundational Scriptures:

Acts 1:8 — “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…”

Hebrews 11:6 — “…Without faith it is impossible to please God…”

Framing Text: Mark 4:26–29 — Don’t rush the power—respect the process.

Why Our Pastor Is Focusing on This in 2026

This year, our church family is centering on one simple, transformative conviction: God’s power is not microwaved—it’s cultivated. We’re not rushing the process; we’re respecting the growth. The emphasis isn’t “more hype,” it’s more depth—growing in faith so we can go in power. As Pastor shared, “God grows what He plans to use. If God is growing you, it’s because He intends to send you.”

Faith Is Grown, Not Given All at Once (Mark 4:27)

Seeds don’t become harvest in a day, and faith doesn’t mature in a moment. It’s planted, watered, and watched—often in quiet obedience. That’s why Zechariah 4:10 reminds us not to despise small beginnings. God is at work in the unseen and the ordinary. Faith forms the capacity that fills power. Power isn’t the starting point—capacity is. Faith expands your capacity so you can carry what God intends to pour.

How Faith Grows (Ephesians 3:16–20)

Paul shows us the interior architecture of spiritual growth:

  • Strengthened Internally (v.16) — Strength comes by His Spirit. Spiritual growth is a Spirit-led work, and faith grows when the Spirit strengthens the core.
  • Christ Settled Deeply (v.17a) — If you’re asking God for more power, the real question is ‘How much of you does God have?’ God fills surrendered space; He doesn’t crowd guarded space.
  • Love Enlarges Capacity (v.17b–19) — We don’t just grow in knowledge—we grow in love. Love widens the heart to carry the fullness of God.
  • God’s Power Matches Our Growth (v.20) — God’s power doesn’t grow—we do. As faith matures our requests, God exceeds them.
Get Rooted to Overflow (Colossians 2:6–7)
  • Rooted to Stand Strong (v.7a) — Trees don’t fall because of strong wind—they fall because of weak roots. If your faith is shallow, every opinion will move you.
  • Built Up to Mature (v.7b) — Attendance is not growth. Being built up produces stability.
  • Rooted People Overflow (v.7c) — Overflow means what God puts in you shows up in how you live.
Power Is Connected to Process (Mark 4:28; Acts 1:8)

Waiting builds capacity. You don’t need more power; you need more room for what God wants to pour. Faith is how God stretches the container.

Faith Grows in Ordinary Rhythms (Mark 4:26–27)

God uses simple, consistent practices to grow extraordinary faith:

  • Daily prayer
  • Weekly worship
  • Consistent fellowship
  • Faithful service
  • Intentional training
Power Is Released When Faith Is Ready (Mark 4:29; Ephesians 3:20)

Harvest comes when the grain is ripe. God releases what He has prepared. And when faith is ready, we see exceedingly, abundantly above all we ask or think—according to the power working within us.

Our Commitment in 2026

We’re committing to rootedness, maturity, and capacity—believing that as we grow in faith, we will go in power. This isn’t a year of shortcuts; it’s a year of roots. We’re not rushing the process. We’re respecting the growth.

Call to Action:

Join us in the rhythms that build capacity—pray daily, worship weekly, fellowship consistently, serve faithfully, and train intentionally. Let’s grow deep so we can overflow.
