Join Us for a Fun-Filled and Empowering Back to School Bash! This event is for all parents and youth, from Kindergarten to College. It’s more than just a celebration. It’s an opportunity to get informed, get supplied, and get connected.
Get ready to kick off the school year with purpose, preparation, and a whole lot of fun! On Saturday, August 16th at 11:00am, families from across the community are invited to attend the Back 2 School Bash, hosted by New Jerusalem Youth Ministry, Unity MB Church, and DDC 21st Century at Unity Christian Academy (3015 Reed Road).

- K–2nd Grade:
Led by Sis. Vivian Maddox - 3rd–5th Grade:
Led by Sis. Yvette Hurst - 6th Grade–College Students along with parents:
Special session with Mrs. Charlotte Bryant, who will speak candidly about today’s drug trends, safety alerts, and how to recognize the creative ways drugs are introduced to young people.
Parents will also receive vital Opioid Overdose Reversal Drug Training and tips on how to stay ahead of the curve with drug safety. Plus:

- Community resources
- And more surprises!
