March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Our aim, as the Health Ministry, is for the Church and community to be fully knowledgeable about Colorectal Cancer. Through passing out pamphlets and open discussion in “Table Talk,” hopefully will assist you in gaining the knowledge needed. So we ask the question. “Why are we fighting? We are fighting for more awareness, more research and more support for those effected by this disease. Why should we keep fighting?” Because colorectal cancer is the #1 cancer killer among men under 50, and #2 for women under 50 behind breast cancer. We must get the word out to help save lives.”
The color BLUE is used as a signification of awareness during the month.
